It may just be the fact that I am SO over winter, or that our Disney trip is coming up in May, but I am SO ready to order some swimsuits and cover-ups! This summer will be the first summer in a very long time that I haven’t (a) been pregnant (b) nursing or (c) taking care of a newborn. I feel like I finally have my body back to myself, if that makes sense!? I’m ready to up my “Mom” swimsuit game and have my eye on some of these beauties.

Trend 2: Color Blocking One Piece- This suit comes in two different color combos and for some reason I just love the mix of colors on both, I also think the top with the wrap tie could be super flattering. I ended up ordering the blue combo because the pink was on major backorder, I’ll be sure to report back. 

 

Trend 3: Ruffle Detail One Piece- I love the black and white gingham print on this suit and like I mentioned before I’m a sucker for cute detail, I feel like this is a perfect blend of “cute” with a little hint of spice. I have a similar suit in the same print from Target last year that I wore all the time! I ended up grabbing that one shoulder suit with bow detail from JCrew, I’m really hoping one of the three suits I ordered works out!

Trend 4: Retro Vibes– I love the print on this one, my friends seemed to be half and half on this one but I thought it was super cute! I love the high waisted bottoms and I feel like the top would be really flattering as well. This one comes in a really cute orangey-red color too. 

 

Cover-Ups- I feel like when I’m at the beach with my little ladies, I’m so busy chasing after them, I typically keep my cover-up on the entire time! The first cover-up I linked is from Amazon and it is AWESOME! I have it in black and I’m definitely ordering it in the light tan color this year. I also ordered the grey midi dress from JCrew to try too!

Sunglasses- I typically scoop up a few pairs of cheapy sunnies from Target or Old Navy, I am a chronic sunglass breaker/loser, as in I’m constantly sitting on or leaving my sunglasses different places, so here are a few budget friendly pairs that I’m loving!

Sandals- There are SO many cute sandal options for the beach, I love the metallic flip flops from Arie and couldn’t decide if the rubber Berks were the ugliest or cutest things ever last summer, but I think I’m going to grab that white pair, they seem like such a great slip on and go kind of shoe!

Beach Bags- Hands down, the best beach/pool bag ever are the canvas totes from Lands End, yes I’m sure you haven’t shopped there in a while, but I’m telling you their canvas bags are the best! They have just enough compartments/pockets, are super durable and of course, I can’t say no to a good monogram. I’m loving the rose gold option! I also think the hot pink translucent bag from Target is super cute!

I had so much fun shopping for all of these swim looks this week and now I’m REALLY ready for some warm weather! I love that our town has a small lake and beach that the girls and I can visit, I can’t wait to take them this summer.
