Today I’m sharing a peek inside our living room! This room hasn’t gotten much attention since we moved in and this year I would love to add a little more character to this space. It’s the first room you see when you walk into our home and I would love to add a little “wow” to the room. One of Scott and I’s favorite part about this room when we moved in were the tall ceilings and all the natural light that floods the room, it’s such a bright and crisp space. We are planning on working with the existing furniture including the couch, coffee table and two accent chairs, however I think some new end tables and maybe a new TV stand would be nice too, but baby steps!
I’m also seriously considering adding shiplap to the wall that our TV is currently hanging on, I just don’t know if I have the guts to do it! What do you think? Should we go for it!?
Small Projects: New Lamp, Fresh Art, New Rug, New Throw Pillow, New Accents
BIG Projects: Shiplap Accent Wall…. and the 80’s called and they want their parquet floors back… I feel like by the time we save up the extra cash to re-do our floors, parquet is going to be back in style, ha!

I can’t wait to see how this space transforms over the next few months, I plan on slowly adding/changing things as I find new elements for the room that I love!
