Happy Fri-yay! We made it through another week and best of all, we are another week closer to SUMMER! The little ladies and I had such an itch to get outside and play this week, I’m actually looking forward to Daylight Savings, the days feel SO long when it gets dark at 4:30. We have a really fun weekend coming-up, family time, dance, a baby shower and I’m photographing my first newborn and I can’t wait. To wrap-up the week, I’m sharing some of my favorites, have a great weekend everyone!
 This Week on the Blog
Wedding Guest Dress follow-up, so the dresses I ordered came in this week and I am so happy with my options! I would love your in-put, which dress do you think I should wear!? I’m also excited to try an Amazon dupe of the lace option that I ordered, I know two people who own the dress and say that it’s awesome, plus it’s only $30!
House Projects, we had a contractor stop by our house this week to give us some quotes on a couple different projects we have in mind for our living room and kitchen. We have a pretty small kitchen and would love to get some new lighting and add a little character with a backsplash. I’m planning on taking down one cabinet and adding floating shelves, as well as a couple wall sconces. I’m still trying to decide if I want the subway tile to stop at the bottom of the shelf OR if I want it to extend all the way up to the top shelf. I also had him add a quote to add shiplap to our living room, which I’m also still contemplating, but that Magnolia inspo photo below has me feeling YES!
Five Photos From Our Week, I love documenting our everyday moments on the blog, I can’t imagine how I’ll feel when I look back on all of these memories one day! I tell Scott all the time, that even though being a stay at home Mom is the hardest job I have ever had, I feel SO lucky to spend these everyday moments with our girls. Every single day that I get to rock and snuggle Isla before she naps, I am so thankful!
Gender Neutral Baby Shower, My Mom and I are SO excited to host a baby shower for my cousin’s wife this weekend! They are waiting to find out the gender, which is SO much fun. We went with the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” theme and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out! Here are some of my inspiration pins on my Gender Neutral Baby Shower Pinterest board.
