We had a crazy busy, yet fun week over here and we are celebrating that Friday has finally arrived! Our week was a busy one, Kindergarten screening, Open House and soccer pictures for Miss Avery, a new big girl bed for Emerson and endless amounts of #snacks for little Miss Isla 😉 We have spent a ton of time outside and sadly, can’t believe that there is SNOW in the forecast for this weekend.
We have a somewhat quiet weekend ahead, a few soccer games for Avery, as well as dance pictures for the big girls, which I can’t WAIT to see them in their costumes! Hopefully we will get another few things checked-off of our weekend to-do list, while mixing in a lot of relaxing and family time. Enjoy the weekend ahead friends!
On Monday we took a trip to the Botanic Gardens, it felt SO nice to be outside, enjoying the sunshine and beautiful gardens.
It was a BIG day this week, little Miss Emerson is officially out of her crib/toddler rail combo and has a big girl bed. She has had a lot of change these last few weeks, no more pacifier at night, no more crib, it’s been a bit of an adjustment, but we are super proud of her!
We had the best time at Avery’s Open House at school, she was so proud to take us around and we got to see an adorable collection of her art work. It’s hard to believe this is her last year of preschool, we are so blessed that she has had the BEST experience, we love her teachers, the school, it’s just all been the best “first” school experience!
After Open House we (of course) had to celebrate all of Avery’s hard work with ice cream!
While I was at a doctor appointment Scotty sent me this photo of our own little PJ Mask trio, geeze I LOVE these three SO much!!
3: Mom Style: Summer Uniform- I can’t wait for warm weather, I’m so read for shorts, t-shirts and sandals! I have been grabbing some great pieces for summer on sale and can’t wait to bring them with us to Florida.
4: Emerson’s Big Girl Room- With little Miss Emerson’s big girl bed arriving this week, it’s time to give her space a little refresh! Her favorite color is purple, so I’m running with a purple, mint and white color scheme. We also added in some rainbows and unicorns, making it the sweetest space for our favorite three year old! I’ll be sharing more photos of this finished space, but here are a few pieces I have included in her room so far.
I’m having a custom sign made for over her bed and I’m deciding between one of these options, which one is your favorite!? If I had to guess, Emmy is going to want the rainbow design!
5: It’s Gonna be MAY- We have SO much to look forward to next month, including: dance recital (Emerson’s first), Mother’s Day, a baby shower, preschool graduation and DISNEY! We are officially less then 30 days away from our long awaited trip and we seriously can’t WAIT! I have some exciting posts coming to the blog and I’ll be taken another set of newborn photos next month, which I’m also super excited about. I love this time of year and can’t wait to countdown to SUMMER, May always seems to go by quickly and this year I’m sure it will go by extra fast! What are you most looking forward to next month!?
