Tops: A mix of everyday basics, a denim tunic and solid sweatshirt is a great base to mix and match with all of the bottoms we found! I tend to keep Avery’s tops pretty neutral, that way she can mix and match and can also add a fun accessory. 

Bottoms: We always have a hard time finding jeans that fit Avery’s waist and are the right length, these wide legged cropped jeans were the perfect solution! When it comes to leggings, no matter how much money I spend on them, they get trashed. I want my girls to be free to play without fear of ruining clothes, so Cat & Jack leggings are always our go to and we are loving the solar system trend. A pair of athletic leggings are great for PE days and a denim skirt is such a great staple, throw on a pair of cartwheel shorts and she is free to run and play at recess! 

Dresses & Outerwear: Avery loves wearing dresses, we always scoop up all the biker shorts at Target, that way she can ride her bike and play without worry! I loved this ribbed rainbow striped dress and I know the grey dress will pair well with the fun solar system print leggings. 

When it comes to outwear, we keep it pretty simple- a denim jacket is great to throw over dresses and t-shirts when it’s cool in the morning, but warm in the afternoon. The army green ruffle pocket jacket was just too cute to pass up, it’s lined in a super soft hot pink jersey knit, which will add a little warmth on windy fall days. 

Shoes & Accessories: Last up, Avery’s favorite- shoes and accessories! Like I mentioned before, we keep her tops/bottoms pretty neutral because she loves to accessorize. 

My girls always have three pairs of shoes for each season, a pair of seasonal shoes, boots in the Fall, a pair of dressy shoes, those cute rose gold flats and a pair of sneakers, she loved those rainbow New Balances and I know they will be perfect for playing outside. 

We have quite the collection of cartwheel shorts, Cat & Jack are by far the best priced, we also grabbed a pair of knee socks that will look adorable with her denim skirt! Girlfriend LOVES a little glitter and that headband will add the perfect amount of flair. For the days when she wants to wear her hair up, our favorite scrunchie set adds a sweet touch!
